Jeff’s carrier experience began in 1993 as a Project Coordinator for Health Net’s Marketing Services team. He eventually moved into sales and large group account management, spending several years leading the Major Accounts team for Health Net, as their Director of National Accounts (3,000+ employees). In this role Jeff was responsible for many of the company’s largest customers, driving a significant amount of revenue for Health Net.
 

In 2002, Jeff joined PacifiCare, one of the largest regional carriers in the Western US. As the national Director of Product Development, Jeff had responsibility and oversight for the design and implementation of new products for the entire organization. A defining victory, Jeff was the primary architect of PacifiCare’s Self Directed Health Plan (SDHP), which became one of the company’s best selling and flagship products.
 

In 2005, when United Healthcare acquired PacifiCare, Jeff joined the Executive leadership team in California where he reported directly to the CEO, managing financial and operational aspects of the California health plan. Throughout the remainder of his tenure at UHC he held various positions with the company.
 

Entrepreneurial-minded, Jeff co-founded Preferred Partners Insurance Agency in 2010 knowing that he could put his industry knowledge and relationships to work for clients of his own. Jeff’s deep understanding of health plan design, operations and financials is invaluable as he works with clients to build custom benefit programs.

But building doesn't stop at the workplace—at home, Jeff gets out the toolbox to complete a wide variety of home improvement projects. When he's not at Home Depot, you can find him golfing, boating, enjoying the local restaurant scene and watching his favorite LA sports teams, particularly his beloved Dodgers.
